So, when SHOULD I talk about my business Opportunity? If you do this the wrong way, at the wrong time, you will not succeed. But if you do this the right way, you will become very successful. The choice is yours !
I often get the question when is the best time to introduce your business opportunity to someone. And the answer is quite simple: When you've asked enough questions to determine if this person is even looking for a business opportunity.
You DO NOT want to bring up your business before you know if that person is even open to looking at a business opportunity. Because you will be pitching! And I guarantee you will push the other person away…. This is a great way to lose friends… It does not work.
Whether they’re friends, family or cold market, whoever – you’ve got to ask questions…. About their life, their work, their family, their interests , etc. etc. to determine if they are open to having a look at your business opportunity.
You’ll find that most people will be open and talk about their lives. You see people love talking about themselves… And it’s not very often that someone else shows an interest.
So be patient, keep asking questions, and eventually you’ll KNOW when it’s the right time to talk about your business opportunity.
One more thing: Don’t be addicted to the outcome!! If the person says no, you’ll have made a new friend and you never know where that leads to.
